Kantishna Air Taxi (KAT) is based at the end of the 94-mile gravel road, deep within Denali National Park. Granted a concession permit by the National Park Service, we are the only air operator that is based within the boundaries of Denali National Park and Preserve. We are the only company allowed to provide scenic tours from Kantishna and provide air taxi service at the McKinley Park airstrip near the park entrance.

Look forward to seeing you in Denali Park this summer!
We are planning a trip to Alaska in July 2010. Interested in the Kantishna Air Taxi. Once we arrive to Denali Park do we take a bus the 94 mile drive to the air taxi? How do we coordinate that so we time our flight and subsequent trip back out of the park? How soon do we need to make a reservation to secure a flight?
There are 4 of us. Kathy
Hi Kathy,
Please call (907) 632-8804, the fine folks at KatAir will be able to answer all of your questions. You may also want to take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions page on their website.
Have a wonderful trip!
The site looks good! A beautiful day in Denali today – I hope the summer is a good one like this.
We have great pilots, who give a very informative tour of Denali and the Great Mountain. The best way to see the Park is a combined trip with bus and plane. Stop by our site or give us a call!
Cheers,
Matt
